About the AAA Microlights Chatteris Training Centre

AT CHATTERIS AIRFIELD WE HAVE

6 grass runways in the middle of acres of flat agricultural land giving us 12 choices of take-offs and landing in all directions of the compass no matter which way the wind is blowing from. The longest is 670 metres, which allows us to fly and train students in wider weather windows that other UK training schools envy.

Being based in flat East Anglia also gives us a traditionally milder weather spectrum than other areas of the UK. Our enjoyment is seeing students progress much quicker in conditions and environment a committed team in Chatteris can offer.
